Biltmore Forest, located in South Asheville, is a planned residential community with a rich cultural history. The town was planned by the foremost professional town planners of their fday, C.D. Beadle and Frederick Olmstead. Biltmore Forest's landscape plan was designed to preserve the beauty of the natural environment and create a rural atmosphere although located in a city.
